Myroslava, Myro (like a biro), that doodle girl, Mum! Myro Doodles.

I wear many hats, but you're here because of the doodling one!

I'm a self taught artist, Ukrainian heritage but born and bred in Manchester, bringing heart with art to walls and windows across the country and beyond.

Some people think it's just doodling, but I think it's making art accessible for all

I'm not your typical artist story - I was very academic and I loved school, I didn't study art past a Textiles GCSE and I went to university to do an academic degree. I never dreamed I'd be making time for my arty side as an adult, let alone earning my living using it, but here we are.

I was the kid who drew on everything - school books, paper tablecloths in restaurants, my own hands. I have literally been training for this job my whole life (just minus the actual qualifications!) and I think having a visual brain is a huge advantage for my job.

I am passionate about being generous with my art, and I believe my style makes it easy to access for anyone and everyone who comes into contact with it. I love that every day I get to contribute to making the world a brighter and better place.

Amazing art shouldn't be pay per view, restricted to gallery walls. It can be something you walk past every day, in your workplace, your school, down your high street. My clients give me a chance to provide that experience to anyone passing by.

What you’re saying

“Your art provided so many things to our special school. You were absolutely fabulous with us.”

“Showcasing perfectly who we are, captivating both staff and pupils alike, and most importantly inspiring our young people to become artists and CHANGE MAKERS. As the kids say, the place was buzzin’!”

- Mr Uddin, headteacher of St Agnes

  • I have two sons called Cassian and Rudy - I gave birth to both of them on the first labour ward I ever painted, at North Manchester General Hospital.
